Vietnam Opens for Tourists
From March 15, Vietnam reopened tourism activities under new normal conditions. People entering the country only need to have a negative test result for nCoV by PCR or rapid test.

Before the guidance of the Ministry of Health, the Government also issued a resolution on visa exemption for citizens of 13 countries.
Nguyen Nguyet Van Khanh, Deputy Director of Vietravel’s Marketing Department, said this is a reasonable condition, in the context that countries in the region and the world have also relaxed conditions to welcome international guests.
Currently, the department in charge of bringing guests into Vietnam is updating the latest information and policies to partners and customers. The company cooperates with representative offices in Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, France, USA… to build a set of products suitable for each market.
Airline increases flights after tourism opens
Vietnam Airlines plans to operate 160 international flights per week by July, 1.6 times higher than currently; Bamboo Airways operates 40 international routes during the year.
By July, Vietnam Airlines will continue to operate the Chinese market with a frequency of 6 flights/week, Indonesia 3 flights/week and tourist routes to Da Nang and Nha Trang from major markets such as Japan, South Korea, bringing the total number of international flights to more than 160 flights per week.
Since January, the airline has operated regular commercial routes carrying passengers to Vietnam from the US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Europe and Australia.
These routes have been widely opened for sale and serve all passengers who meet Vietnam’s immigration and medical requirements. From February 15, the airline has restored direct flights to Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Accordingly, localities still operate tourism according to Resolution 128 of the Government and guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Provinces and cities, depending on the severity of the epidemic, will decide to close and open tourist attractions, accommodation…
Localities will also agree on the process of serving tourists and have a plan to deal with medical incidents that develop.
Those who have received the full dose of vaccine or have recovered from the disease do not need to be tested for nCoV, unless there is an epidemiological investigation request or from an area with level 4 epidemic.
Visitors must comply with 5K, medical declaration or scan QR code. In addition, it is necessary to comply with regulations on safety and prevention of epidemics and rules of tourism business establishments.
