In recent days, the installation of Platform Screen Doors (PSDs) is being carried out at elevated stations on Metro Line 1. The completion and installation works are being accelerated.

Trains 8, 9, 10, and 11 have been completed by Contractor Hitachi and other transport and engineering units to be placed on the tracks of Depot Long Binh. Thus, in turn, the trains will be assembled, connected and tested for the electrical system and the general system…
In 2022, HCMC Metro will strive to complete and bring 17 trains to Vietnam, preparing for the commissioning phase.
11 Metro carriages have been delivered
In addition to Metro Line 1, on December 21, 2021, the Urban Railway Management Board in collaboration with the German Bank for Reconstruction (KfW) held an information conference on bidding for CS2B package for Metro Line 2 (Ben Thanh – Tham Luong) in an online form on the Zoom Webinar platform.
As announced at the Conference, in February 2022, the CS2B package will issue pre-qualification documents and is expected to complete the contractor selection and award the contract in early 2023.
