[Review] The Launch of The Marq by Hongkong Land and An Khang
The Marq launch story is told through the eyes of the buyers and Realtique elite agents who were impressed by the professional organizing of the Hongkong Land developer.
It starts with around 350 bookings which were drafted only in 1.5 month before the launch. All are aiming for 1-4 bedroom with the expected price from 6,500-7,500 USD/sqm (excluding tax).
The launch event was hold at a cozy ballroom of Park Hyatt hotel with lovely food and good coffee.
It was 8:00 A.M in the morning of Saturday, 11th May. The sky was clear and the air was calm.
The buyers were welcomed with beautiful ladies in white Vietnam traditional dresses (Ao Dai), light breakfast and a beautiful violin melody. All followed smoothly and softly with the MC’s short introduction about the Marq.
Then, when the time came, a group of 10 buyers was called to the selection room to choose the units. This is where the difference escalates.
No hustle, no sign of pushing from sales, no crowd effect at all. Order was kept accordingly amazingly:
10 buyers with the most recent numbers were called to the selection room at a time. The numbers are displayed on a digital board and on a first come first serve basis. The buyers with the smallest number will be invited to a table where there were 2 supporters help them on the selection. All looks professional with a smile and great support.
Buyers had as much time as they want to review the price, block the unit, choose it, read the terms on the deposit slip and sign. Then getting the applause by the staff in the room and one ding from the bell signaled a congratulations! (Why there is a bell in the room and the ding, nobody knows exactly but it cheers the atmosphere and the buyers are happy!)
